Bewdley Carnival Welcomes You!

We are pleased to announce that preparations have started once again on Bewdley Carnival for 2025. We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who left us some amazing feedback from their experience of the 2024 Carnival, we really do appreciate you taking the time to let us know what you enjoyed and, most importantly, how would could improve the event going forward.

We held our Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Wednesday 4th September 2024. We had a good turnout, with representitives from the Bewdley Trader’s Group, Riverside Elim Church, Homestart Wyre Forest, the Bewdley Primary School PTFA & Bewdley Bowling Club. Thanks to your support, we have managed to donate a grand total of £2150 to our local comminity! Supporting fantastic local causes is our primary focus and you all have made that happen, thanks to your generosity.

Now, it all starts again. The committee has been chosen, with only a couple of changes this year. We welcome May Carter to the position of Treasurer and congratulate Denise Eaton as she takes on the role of Vice Chair. The team have started planning our fundraising events, which will be announced on here and our Facebook page. Please check back regularly to see what we have planned.

Carnival Royals 2024

Could you be Carnival Royalty?

The chance to be one of the Carnival Royals for 2025 is now open to all children aged 4-11 from the following schools:

Bewdley Primary, St. Anne’s C of E Primary, Bayton C of E Primary, Far Forest Lea Memorial C of E Primary & Upper Arley C of E Primary

5 lucky winners will be selected from across the local Primary Schools, and the selected students will be on the royal float in the carnival procession on carnival day! To enter your child, please click on the button below and complete the registration form.

Our upcoming events & fundraisers

Our amazing events team are hard at work organising some great events for you all to attend. All funds raised from these events go towards our chosen causes for this year, plus fund the carnival for future years. We have something for everyone and for all ages, so please add these dates to your diaries!

    Fireworks Display – The night before the Carnival

    You can now make a donation towards future firework displays at Bewdley Carnival. When fully funded, we add any remaining donations towards our supported causes for this year. Every penny counts to keep this fantastic display part of the carnival celebrations and support great local causes, so along with your donations we always approach additional sponsors to see if they will help us reach our goal.

    We are pleased to announce that this year’s fireworks display has been fully funded by Light Ideas International Ltd & Hunza Europe.
